I was part of this discussion today at work with my buddy that runs Fiscal Musings. This post of his I enjoyed. And, I must admit, it even applies to me.

Just thought I would take a moment to welcome the newest blogger in my family to the blog-o-sphere. My lovely wife of almost 6 years has begun her own blog. She calls it One White Middle Class American Woman’s Blog. It’s mostly focused on women’s issues but she does throw in other issues from time to time.
Check it out and see what she has to say.
Slow Day in the News

It seems that there just wasn’t much to report about in the last few days in the news. Fox News decided to run this story about some bored teens in South America.![]()
Apparently, they were scared of this little guy dressed up like a gnome that crossed the street near them during the night.
Now really, are you scared of this little guy? —–>
I’m not. I mean, I would understand if this guy (left) jumped up out of nowhere. He’s one scary dude, and if you have seen any of his movies, you would never want to try to find his pot of gold again.
But the fact is, it wasn’t this guy. It was some midget with a dunce cap on his head that got drunk and decided to run through the bushes down some random rural street.
The question I really have is, why in the world is this news? Seriously, spend the time to report on Boeing losing an important military contract to the French. Report on Clinton supporters saying Obama is only where he is today because he’s black. Report on a Kansas City woman who left her two year old at home alone, and then was arrested for it after the house caught on fire and fire fighters had to pull the little girl unconscious out of the burning house.
Wake up and smell the news people, and stop wasting our time with idiotic stories like this.
If you want to continue wasting your time, the cell phone video of the gnome is right here for you.
